Noetic Vision refers to awareness beyond the range of ordinary senses and beyond normal thought. In ancient Greece, Soma was the material aspect, Psyche the soul aspect and Nous was the higher consciousness. The alignment of the three realms is a teaching of many esoteric traditions.
Psychic experience may be our higher aspect sending a wake-up call.
